How to gain Kurzick ranks/ skills? - Guild Wars Forums

I would like to get access to the PvE Kurzick skills. Im lv20, but have not started Factions yet. Any tips on how to advance fast/ easy in Kurzick ranks. Currently I play w/ heros&hench.

I would suggest playing through the campaign until you get to the jade quarry. Once there just play the CM and donate your faction to a guild.

Another thing to do is make sure you grab a copy of Shiro's Return from the Kurzick Poet in Kaineng Center. After filling it out (going through every mission), you can turn it in for 40k points to your title.

Join a Kurzick guild (although Luxon skills are the same as Kurzick skills, just different name and icon). Because you already have the Factions campaign you can play Alliance Battle (AB). And you can play Factions PVE... later on you can get blessings at shrines (gives you factions for every kill), play cooperative missions Fort Aspenwood and Jade Quary... and donate all gained factions to your guild (double points for the title).

the fastest way is to do drazach thicket speed clears (vanquish the entire zone for points per kill and bonus on completion). really though, you don't need to max the rank out to have your kurzick skills be effective.

I am in a Kurzick guild. However, so far I have not played any Faction missions bc I started in Proph and went to NF to get the heros.

Guess the best start is to begin with the Faction missions.

Actually, continue what you're doing. You should get the 3 Necro hero asap which can help you through Proph/Faction like a breeze.

The only way he's getting 3 Necro heroes is if he owns EotN too. I don't remember him saying if he had that as well. If he is playing as a Necro himself he may be good to go.

1. Finish the Book you receive from either Kurzick or Luxon storytellers that give a lot of faction for the completion of one of these books.

2. Go to the Jade Quarry and constantly do it. This will result in 3,500 Kurzick Faction per win and Balthazar faction, usually it takes less than 15 minutes, but 15 minutes is the time limit on Jade Quarry.

3. Do the Drazach Thicket Speed Clear. Make a Monk, give him or her the skills required for a 600 or Smiter build as stated on www.pvxwiki.com.

You can also do Hard Mode after finishing Factions, and vanquish (regularly) through the Kurzick lands.

I have complete GW1 incl. EotN. However I mainly played Proph and NF so far. Can I get 3 necro heros in EotN (i read a bit about MM and MB) ? I only have Olias so far.

I am currently playing Me and Ele chars.

You should get one necro hero (Livia) in Eye of the north, 1 Necro hero from the Nightfall storyline (Master of Whispers), and the final Necro hero (Olias) from doing a quest I believe you find at the Consulate Docks in Nightfall, which is kind of like an introduction to Tyria. At least the latter is true for native Nightfall characters. I'm not entirely sure how you get Olias if you're not a Nightfall character.

Make a PVP toon.. play JQ- its the Fastest way to get faction - and balt faction too = zkeys = GOLD!!!

As they said join the "alliance of either Lux or Ker. When you gain 5000 faction for the Lux or Ker just cash them in to raise the faction of the alliance.. that will give you 10,000 faction for the price for only 5,000 making the title go way faster..

WHILE YOU DO THAT.. check the Z-MISSION in the Great Temple of Bal. Get the QUest for JQ and FQ (fa is fort aspenwood) then every 3 wins cash in your quest and get 5000 ker and 5000 Lux faction. Donate this faction to your alliance/guild again and get another 10,000 faction/quest/3 wins

I got lvl 4 of Ker doing this in just 3 days. I now have the trophy in my hall and I have NEVER played in faction with a PvE toon.
